Capabilities
What IFC Viewer can do
Real-time 3D Navigation
Orbit, pan, and zoom a fully hardware-accelerated 3D view powered by ThatOpen Engine. Smooth performance even on dense IFC models with thousands of elements.
Hierarchical Model Tree
Browse your model through the full IFC spatial hierarchy — project, site, building, storey, and element. Switch to a flat entity-type view to explore by category.
Element Property Inspection
Click any element in the 3D view or tree to instantly see its complete IFC property sets, attributes, and relationships in a dedicated panel.
Search & Filter
Quickly locate elements by name, GUID, or type across the entire model. Filter the tree by storey or element category to focus on specific parts of the building.
Isolation & Visibility
Isolate selected elements to hide everything else in the 3D view — ideal for reviewing a specific system or zone without visual clutter.
Multi-select
Hold Ctrl and click to build a multi-element selection across tree branches. The 3D viewer highlights all selected elements simultaneously for quick visual inspection.
Multi-file Support
Load multiple IFC files simultaneously and view them together in a single federated 3D scene. Each file stays independent in the tree so you can show, hide, or inspect them separately.
Fast Local Loading
Models are parsed and rendered entirely on your machine using IfcOpenShell. No upload, no waiting for a server — just open your IFCs and start exploring.
